Author Biography - Enda Walsh

Enda Walsh is from Dublin but made his name in Cork with the Corcadorca Theatre Company, for whom he wrote the award-winning Disco Pigs (1996), subsequently filmed. Misterman (1999) was also first staged in Cork with Enda playing the lead. And he directed the first production of his next play, Bedbound (2000), for the Dublin Theatre Festival and the Royal Court. He moved to London last year.
