Description - Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
'Bella?' Edward's soft voice came from behind me. I turned to see him spring lightly up the porch steps, his hair windblown from running. He pulled me into his arms at once, and kissed me again. His kiss frightened me. There was too much tension, too strong an edge to the way his lips crushed mine - like he was afraid we had only so much time left to us. As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob - knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which? Following the international bestsellers Twilight and New Moon, Eclipse is the much-anticipated third book in Stephenie Meyer's captivating saga of vampire romance.

Book Review: Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer - Reviewed by Lani (27 Aug 2011)
The third book in the Twilight series, 'Eclipse' is more fast-paced and tightly written than the first two novels. The tension between Bella, Jacob and Edward practically leaps off the page. The deeper exploration into the vampire and werewolf realms are long-awaited and captivating. Everyone has their favourite Twilight character, and here they are all featured and further explored, and new favourites are introduced. The world of Twilight in 'Eclipse' is so engrossing, Meyer's writing style has really matured into not just making a book, but creating a world. It's definately one to read, and read again!

The Cullens are back in town! Though Bella is happy to see the family in town, Jacob is none to happy and neither are the Quileutes and the effects vampires in the area have on their people.
Bella is being stalked, and the family are preparing for an attack but they can't seem to pick up on who could be responsbile. As well there are alot of humans disappearing in a near town and it seems like it may be the work of a large amount of new vampires that are being created but what for?
Oh this book definitely made up for New Moon. I am enjoying Edward and the cullens being back in town. We also get to find out so much more about his siblings and their histories in this book which is really good, i'm pretty sure Jasper is my favourite!
I am over the 'love triangle' if you could call it that with Jacob and Edward - give up Jacob you have no chance!
