Book Reviews - Travels to the Ends of the Earth by Kester Brown
Author Biography - Kester Brown
Kester Brown spent 39 years at the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne as an anaesthetist, with 26 of them as Director of the department. Early in his career he was in Labrador and northern Canada in General Practice. Photographs taken during his travels constitute part of this book, some of them from that time nearly 50 years ago. He has painted for many years but his interest in watercolours was re-kindled in 1980, and since then he has painted everywhere he has travelled. Poetry is a more recent interest and one he hopes to continue with.
