If you’re a sci-fi fan or a fan of wonderful Victorian romance novels then this book is for you. The Map of Time is an enthralling, well written read that will capture one’s heart and take you on one hell of a Journey.
It has a little something for everyone whether it is the tragedy of an unlikely romance that was cut short or the idea of turning back/ forwards the hands of time.
The book is written in three parts, with each part approaching time travel from a slightly different angle and then the third part tying it altogether just not in a neatly, for Felix J Palma plays with the reader many times throughout the book. It is a credit to Felix J Palma’s talent that he is able to keep you guessing and sitting on the edge of you seat so well.
The first part of this book starts off by telling you about the dashing Andrew Harrington and his desperate need to save Marie Kelly, his lover who has been killed by Jack the Ripper. You are met with the idea of Victorian people paying for a trip into the year 2000 to see what life is like. Then there is Claire Haggerty wants to escape her Victorian restraints and falls for a man who lives in the future.
