Description - Cultural Intelligence by Brooks Peterson
In every industry, from health care to manufacturing, working professionals increasingly need to interact with people from other cultures. This book provides a practical, down-to-earth approach for Westerners needing to enhance their work skills with colleagues from cultures other than their own - clients, customers, counterparts or partners from other countries; and with the local workforce for those living and working abroad. To better understand the underlying basis of cultural differences, the book presents five culture scales within which the reader can clearly identify where the culture they are keen to learn more about would rank.
