Author Biography - Maha Abdelrahman
Maha Abdelrahman is assistant professor of sociology at the American University in Cairo and the author of Civil Society Exposed: The Politics of NGOs in Egypt (AUC Press, 2004). Iman A. Hamdy is editor of Cairo Papers in Social Science. Malak S. Rouchdy is assistant professor of sociology at the American University in Cairo. Reem Saad is an associate professor in the Social Research Center of the American University in Cairo.
