Josephine Bacon is an author, translator and food historian who has written 14 books about food and travel, and has translated 30 cookbooks. Jenni Fleetwood has written many books on the food of Africa and the Middle East. She lived in Cairo as a child, and her earliest memories are of the family cook, Ibrahim.
