Book Review: DADS by Justin Ractliffe - Reviewed by (03 Oct 2013)

What better book could there be, but a book about Dads.

Children love their Dad's well most of the time so this book tells us a quirky story about Dad's. Dad's come in many different shapes and sizes and this is the true essence of the concept, from short Dads, to Tall Dad's, Hairy dads, to bald Dad's and even underwear on the outside Dad's.

The story is easy to read and allot of fun to read to your child, with flowing rhyming sentences and bright colorful pictures a great read for Father or child.

Author Biography - Justin Ractliffe

Justin has two young daughters and got the idea for the book from watching all the different types of dads dropping their kids off at school. After a decade working in the music industry, Cathie Glassby's illustrations have emerged from her love of music, pop culture, vintage posters and fashion. Her work has led her to be selected as one of a stable of artists to contribute to iconic Australian brand Mambo, and the Australian artist run collective Art Park, with her artwork included in clothing ranges, exhibitions and publications. In 2008 Cathie was nominated as one of the world's most exciting female illustrators by illustration almanac Curvy.
