The Edge of Normal is a great debut thriller by crime writer Carla Norton.

The story is about Reeve LeClaire who is a survivor of a kidnap torture scenario. Many years down the track Reeve's is still struggling to comes to terms with the ordeal, but now she is getting her life back on track. Her Dr asks her to my a mentor to a young girl who has just been through a similar ordeal, however Reeves end up facing her demons.

A fast moving edgy book, it was hard to put down, overall a great read, look forward to more from the author.
