Author Biography - Irene Haugland
Irene Haugland is a designer and started her own company, Vrikke, in 1993 just before the Lillehammer Olympics, with great success. Her designs are inspired by old Norwegian handicraft traditions: Norwegian rose painting, hand embroidery, and symbols from the Middle Ages. Irene lives in Lunde, the heart of Telemark.
