Book Review: Ollie and the Wind by Ronojoy Ghosh - Reviewed by StephMWard (26 Sep 2015)
This charming picture book follows a lonely young boy who lives on an unnamed island as he attempts to capture the wind. When his efforts fail, he decides to try to play with the wind instead and comes up with various ways to play until he lands on the perfect idea.
With stunning illustrations, especially the starry night scenes, Ollie and the Wind is a touching book with a sweet, young boy at its core. I especially enjoyed the clever details in the illustrations including a lovely surprise at the end.
Perfect as a bedtime story for toddlers and preschoolers. Definitely recommended.
