Book Review: Stone Soup by Jess Stockham - Reviewed by (10 Jun 2013)

Stone Soup is allot of fun and of course the interactive flaps make it interesting for the young reader.

A group of strangers wonder into town and come across a village where the people are so poor they can't afford to feed themselves. This is where the concept of Stone soup comes from and they devise a clever idea to squeeze food from a stone.

The idea and food is quite clever and amusing, although predictable it was fun to read. The illustrations are quite detailed and colorful along with the interactive flaps make it a book you can re-read many a time.
