Author Biography - National Museum - New Deli

Dr Shobita Punja worked as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the National Culture Fund, Ministry of Culture; Government of India. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Art History and two Masters Degrees in Ancient History from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and Art Education from Stanford University, California respectively. She has authored many books on Museums, Art History and Culture of India and has organized many national training programmes on heritage education and developed heritage resource materials for schools and educational institutions.
