Barbara Delinsky has a B.A. in psychology from Tufts University and an M.A. in sociology from Boston College. - She lost her mother to breast cancer and was herself diagnosed and treated for breast cancer in 1994. - Her bestselling novels include Lake News, The Vineyard and Coast Road which featured a heroine who was a breast cancer survivor. - She lives in the United States.
