Author Biography - Carol J. Pierman

Carol J. Pierman, a leading scholar of women's studies, teaches at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Some of her publications include "The All-American Girls Professional Baseball League: Accomplishing Great Things in a Dangerous World," "Title IX and the Case of Women's Basketball," and "Scorecards, Scrapbooks, and Stats: Girls, Women, and the Game of Baseball."
