Xaviere Gauthier is a journalist, editor, and academic specializing in women s literature, feminist ideology, and representations of women in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. She founded the art review "Sorcieres" in 1975, and has published the little-known writings of French anarchist Louise Michel."
